Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in Bengaluru is seeking a Test Automation Expert to design and implement scalable automation for automotive systems at our Bangalore office.

You will lead hands-on automation, establish best practices, mentor engineers, and push productivity with AI-enabled testing while aligning with CI/CD pipelines.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Test Automation Expert.

This position is based at our office in Bangalore.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop, and evolve scalable test automation frameworks for automotive systems
• Act as a senior individual contributor, delivering hands‑on automation solutions
• Define and enforce best practices for automation architecture, coding standards, and reuse
• Mentor automation engineers and provide technical leadership
• Drive productivity improvements using AI‑assisted automation and modern testing approaches
• Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD/CT pipelines
• Collaborate closely with software, integration, and validation teams

Must‑Have Technical Skills

• Strong programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, object‑oriented design)
• Expert‑level hands‑on experience in test automation development
• Proven framework design and architecture experience
• Preferred programming stack: C#, .NET, WPF, MVVM
• Deep debugging and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Strong understanding of white‑box testing, API testing, and SW‑level validation

AI & Productivity Enablement (Must have)

• Practical experience with Gen AI & LLMs for software testing
• Experience in applying AI/ML models for predictive analysis, anomaly detection & failure pattern recognition
• Understanding of AI limitations, governance, and responsible usage in testing

• Strong automotive background with experience in Cluster, Infotainment, BCM, or Telematics systems
• Hands‑on experience with CAN, UDS diagnostics, and vehicle networks
• Understanding of ECU behavior, timing, and event‑driven systems

Automation & Testing Capabilities

• HMI and UI automation experience (Cluster / IVI)
• Vision‑based validation, OCR, pixel/region comparison, and gauge/blinking validation
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing (CI/CD/CT) experience
• Experience with headless automation and parallel execution

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with AAOS or Linux‑based IVI platforms
• Knowledge of ASPICE testing expectations (SWE.4 / SWE.5)
• Familiarity with BDD/Gherkin‑based testing approaches
• Experience with tools such as DOORS, ALM, Jira, Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
