Job summary

Onward Technologies is seeking an embedded/validation engineer in Chennai to work with automotive networks, vectors, and test automation. You will engage in protocol validation, tool usage like NI Teststand/LabVIEW, and develop CAPL scripts for CANoe scenarios.

Candidate should be comfortable with Linux/Android, Python, and diagnostic tools such as UDS and DDT. This role emphasizes hardware-in-the-loop and E2E validation in an automotive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive protocols like CAN and Ethernet.
• Proficient in Vector CANoe and CAPL scripting.
• Knowledge of Linux/Android and test automation tooling.
• Familiarity with UDS, DDT and diagnostic tools.

• Automotive Network Communicaton Protocols (CAN,Ethernet,..).
• NI Teststand & LabVIEW, NI Vision.
• Validation Methodology (STLC/SDLC, V-Model).
• Vector Applications (CANOe, CAN Analyser, CAPL Scripting,..).
• Electronic Controller Operating System (LINUX, Android) and Input/Output Simulation.
• Programming Language - PYTHON, Database Management,..
• CAR Digital Cockpit components (Infotainment, Cluster, ADAS ECU's,..).
• Automative Diagnostic Tool Knowledge (UDS, DDT, BOSCH Diagnostic Tools..).
• Test & Defect Manaement Tools (SILK Central, JIRA,..).
• Multimedia Basics (Bluetooth, WIFI, Audio/Radio, Navigation). Experience in executing CAPL Scripting using Vector CANoe ( DBC Files, Execution, Analysis).
• Automated Test Equipment ATE (RTOS, Simulators, Electrical Circuits ).
• Embedded System -Open System Interconnection (SSH, ADB, UART,..).
