Job summary

Alten is seeking a qualified candidate for cockpit and infotainment validation in a Chennai-based role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bench or vehicle-level cockpit validation and strong knowledge of infotainment systems including tuner, media, Bluetooth, Android Auto/CarPlay, navigation, apps and Wi‑Fi.

Proficiency in C/Python or CAPL/XML and familiarity with KWP/UDS diagnostics, CAN/LIN/Ethernet are required.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in Cockpit Validation in Bench or vehicle level.
• Good knowledge on infotainment features validation: Tuner, Media (CD, BT, SD Card, USB), Bluetooth, Android Auto/Car Play, Navigation, Apps, Wi‑Fi, etc.
• Working Knowledge of diagnostics protocol (KWP/UDS) and Network Management.
• Good knowledge in Automotive Communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc.)
• Good programming skills in C/Python or CAPL/XML.
• Hands on experience in using Vector tools like: CANalyzer/Canoe, CAN Stress.
• HMI automation techniques would be a plus.
• Knowledge on Instrument Panel Cluster validation would be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, Problem solving and Analytical skills are essential.
