Tata Consultancy Services is partnering with a global leader in bearing manufacturing to hire a Transformation Lead Sustainability. This high-impact leadership role focuses on translating board-level sustainability ambitions into measurable operational and financial outcomes.

You will drive enterprise-wide initiatives across manufacturing operations, embedding sustainability into core shop floor processes and scaling digital capabilities to decarbonize and enhance circular business operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in transformation, operations, or manufacturing leadership.
• Strong background in discrete manufacturing (auto, industrial equipment).
• Proven track record of delivering board-sponsored transformation programs.
• Hands-on experience in shop floor environments.
• Expertise in sustainability and decarbonization in manufacturing.
• Digital platform development and implementation.
• Digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide sustainability transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Embed sustainability into core shop floor processes as a value engine.
• Anchor digital for decarbonization agenda and energy cost reduction.
• Drive digital enablement of circular business operations and carbon emissions reductions (Scope 1-3).
• Scale impact with IoT, analytics, and MES/ERP integration.
• Partner with executive leadership to drive governance and delivery.

This is a high-impact leadership role within a large-scale Business & Technology transformation program, focused on translating board-level sustainability ambitions into measurable operational and financial outcomes.

What Youll Drive:

• Lead enterprise-wide sustainability transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations
• Embed sustainability into core shop floor processesnot as a parallel agenda, but a value engine
• Deliver tangible outcomes, including:
• Anchor digital for decarbonization’ agenda
• Energy cost reduction
• Digital enablement of circular business operations
• Carbon emissions reduction across Scope 1, 2, 3 (and beyond)
• Digital enablement of carbon emissions avoidance
• Digital acceleration of sustainable product innovation
• Enhancing Sustainable Business revenue
• Leverage digital and Industry 4.0 capabilities (IoT, advanced analytics, MES/ERP integration) to scale impact
• Partner closely with executive leadership to drive governance, alignment and delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years’ experience in transformation, operations, or manufacturing leadership
• Strong background in discrete manufacturing (automotive, industrial equipment, engineering)
• Proven track record of delivering board-sponsored transformation programs
• Hands-on experience working in shop floor environments
