Job summary

Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) invites applications for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our Pune office. You will model complex projects, meet clients to establish requirements, and advise on simulation results.

You’ll work on challenging international projects with support to develop your career. You will build energy models for building and mechanical systems, collaborate with a global team, and contribute to LEED, NABERS, and other rating processes while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture.
• 3+ years' experience in building energy modelling.
• Experience with IES ApacheHVAC is essential.
• Experience with LEED documentation and energy rating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting solutions in the energy simulation/modelling/HVAC domain.
• Provide support for model building and data gathering.
• Support projects such as LEED, NABERS, BREEAM, and similar rating systems, as well as UK building regulations and net zero carbon projects.
• Prepare and review project reports, analyse results, and produce customised deliverables
• Offer project mentoring to software customers as required.
• Coordinate with the global team on project delivery.
• From time to time, perform other duties as necessary to assist Integrated Environmental Solutions Limited
• Key areas: Multiple Project Management/Co-ordination, LEED Documentation, energy modelling, feeding thermal inputs into the model, analysing results, producing reports, etc.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our Consultancy team in our Pune office. This member will be working as a part of our expanding international consulting team, responsible for modelling complex projects which can include meeting clients to establish project requirements. You will run simulations assessing building and mechanical system design alternatives and advise clients on the results of those simulations. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile international projects and will be given the encouragement and support to develop your career, as part of a unique team of building simulation consultants.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced (minimum 3 years), building simulation professional with appropriate and relevant engineering or architectural background, with the following skills and experience:

Skills & Experience

• Engineer with Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with IES ApacheHVAC is essential
• Experience with LEED documentation
• Experience with Multiple Project Management/Co-ordination
• Experience with energy modelling packages like Visual DOE, EnergyPlus, eQuest, etc.
• Strong communication skills including speaking English.

Nice To Have:

• Skills on IES Virtual Environment software.
• ASHRAE 90.1 PRM method.
• HVAC skills with either design or system selection experience.
• Heating/cooling loads calculations.
• Operational Energy Modelling.
• Familiarity with Revit.
• Python scripting.
