Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is seeking a Manager-STA-DAC-cv cdmm to lead drivetrain projects and supplier development. You will oversee feasibility studies, quality assurance activities, and budget planning, coordinating with design teams and suppliers to meet targets on time.

The role requires deep drivetrain knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience across stages from concept to production in an automotive setting.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Timely development to Suspension System & it sub system parts such as Shock Absorber, Leaf Spring, Coil Spring, Stabiliser Bar etc.. with desired quality level & ensure PPAP/PSW & Handover on time.
• Technical signoff, Participation in Feasibility, GD&T study with design team and supplier to make process simplified. TSO, DAP, APQP, PPAP, FTG approval from Suppliers
• Planning, timely monitoring and periodic review of all projects / supplier across location
• Accuracy in budgeting
• Reduction in bottleneck issues w.r.t. time, cost, and gateways
• Performance analysis leading to identification of failure/ deviation mode and taking preventive and corrective actions
• Providing support through analysis, reviews, and coordination to projects teams to achieve set targets.
• Continuous improvement in quality & development time, benchmarking, Lesson learns deployment etc..
• Trails, Buyoff, Commissioning & installation of FTG to achieve desired quality output.

Experience 10-16 Years Industry Preferred Automotive Industry Qualifications BE /B.Tech/ M.E. / M.Tech – Mechanical/Production/ Automobile/ I.E. A PG in Operations Mgmt General Requirements Deep drivetrain technical understanding Strong problem-solving & quality tools Supplier development capability Field failure analysis experts Measurement instrument, 8D, Why Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, CMM knowledge, SPC, MSA, PFD, CP, FMEA, PPAP etc

• Provide support to various project teams for Business Case, Planning, Budgeting, and Project and Target costing.
• Performance analysis, tracking and progress monitoring of different projects.
• Continuous support to project teams across locations to achieve time, cost, and performance targets.
• Help team leader/ key members in project planning with the involvement of all stakeholders.
• Help Project Heads to identify critical path activities and develop risk mitigation plans
• Work towards bottlenecking issues and eliminate unresolved issues at higher levels.
• Develop a periodic review calendar for the team, Supplier and ensure the same.
• Help the team leader for top management reviews.
• Plan, budget and monitor resources.
• Support team leaders in evaluating project management processes periodically, identify gaps and draw up improvement plans.
• Develop database and systems to build MIS related to projects
• Coordination with internal and external agencies to eliminate bottlenecks and facilitate KEY
• Well acquainted with Quality Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), APQP, PPAP, MOST Technique etc..
• Design / Process Knowledge of Suspension system & its components.
• Effective communication, Change Management, Operational Analytical Thinking & Team player
• Expertise in Product development activities involving Component Development, Plant Engineering, Production Line Balancing Through Cycle time, Material Handling Planning & Approval, Line Lay outing, Development of new sources (Suppliers selection), Monitoring & Project Coordination and Procurement of materials from sources
