Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Mining Surveyor for Department-1 Geo, Quality & Env in Jharkhand, India. You will measure excavation areas, support borehole surveys, and prepare surface, geological and water danger plans for the DGMS in line with the Mines Project timeline.

You will also assist in map drafting, project readiness for Surbena Khajri and Damchuan Bauxite Mines blocks, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Surveying experience in mining projects.
• Proficient in drafting maps and borehole surveys.
• Knowledge of DGMS requirements.

• Implementing all statutory compliance within timelines by submitting the following to the IBM & DMG on a quarterly basis:
  • surface plan
  • geological plan
  • Exploration plan updation
• Implementing compliance of Integrated Management system and Energy Management System
• Overseeing good Housekeeping practices in area under jurisdiction
• Safety
• Implementing Safety standards to achieve zero harm through i mplementation of safety standards such as HIRA, 5S
• Monitoring implementation of safety related training
• People development and engagement
• Monitoring intake and deployment of physically fit and appropriately trained contractual workforce and ensuring their continuous training and wellbeing as per company guidelines.
