Job summary

Dalmia Bharat Limited seeks a DGMS-certified Surveyor for Open Cast Mines to perform precise surveys, prepare plans, sections, and maps for a limestone mine, and maintain statutory records. You will use Total Station and GPS tools, monitor pit development, and support planning, blasting, and excavation activities while ensuring DGMS, IBM, and environmental compliance.

You will coordinate with Mining, Geology and Operations teams to meet survey requirements and contribute to accurate reserves,

Qualifications

• DGMS surveyor certification for open cast mines is required.
• Strong surveying skills across mine plans and mapping.
• Ability to maintain statutory records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mine surveys and prepare accurate plans, sections, and maps of the limestone mine.
• Carry out topographical, boundary, and volumetric surveys using Total Station, GPS, and related survey instruments.
• Maintain statutory survey records, plans, and drawings as per DGMS and MMR requirements.
• Monitor pit development, mine benches, haul roads, and dumping areas as per approved mine plan.
• Calculate limestone reserves, production volumes, and reconciliation data.
• Support mine planning, blasting, and excavation activities through survey data.
• Ensure compliance with DGMS, IBM, Mines Act, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with Mining, Geology, and Operations teams for survey-related requirements.
