Job summary

SN Mining Pvt. Ltd. - Head Office, Jaipur, Raj. seeks a Manager / Sr. Manager for Mine Survey to lead surveying operations across mining projects. You will supervise survey teams, ensure accurate field data collection, and maintain critical statutory records and mine plans.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mining or Surveying with strong knowledge of DGPS, Total Station, GIS, AutoCAD, and related planning tools, and readiness to join at short notice.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mining, Mine Surveying, Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mine survey practices and statutory requirements.
• Experience in mining survey operations and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all surveying activities for mining and project operations.
• Lead survey teams and ensure accurate field survey and data collection.
• Prepare and maintain mine plans, sections, survey records, and statutory documentation.
• Conduct production, volumetric, topographical, boundary, and other mine surveys.
• Handle and monitor Total Station, DGPS, Auto Level, Drone Survey, and other modern survey instruments.
• Coordinate with Mining, Planning, Geology, and Operations teams for effective mine planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with the Mines Act, MMR, DGMS guidelines, and applicable statutory mining regulations.
• Verify survey data, prepare reports, and support mine planning and operational decision-making.
• Ensure timely submission and maintenance of statutory mine survey plans and records.

Position: Manager / Sr. Manager

Department: Mine Survey ( Mining )

MMR Certificate in Mine Surveying is Mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all surveying activities for mining and project operations.
• Lead survey teams and ensure accurate field survey and data collection.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma / Degree in Mining, Mine Surveying, Surveying, or a relevant field.
• 812 years of relevant experience in Mining / Open Cast Mining Survey.
• Strong knowledge of mine survey practices and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, DGPS, Total Station, GIS, Civil 3D, and/or Mine Planning Software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, coordination, and team management skills.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
