Job summary

Dabur India Limited is seeking a Supply & Distribution Planning professional in India with 3–5 years of FMCG planning experience. The candidate will manage category planning, drive S&OP with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and manufacturing, and issue production plans for SKUs, Promo & NPDs.

Experience with ERP/Planning tools and MBA/PGDM in SCM/Operations is preferred. Strong MS Excel skills and the ability to translate complex scenarios into actionable plans are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of planning and distribution experience in FMCG or similar industry.
• MBA/PGDM with specialization in SCM & Operations.
• Exposure to ERP/Planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Supply & Distribution planning for the category.
• Drive the monthly S&OP with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and manufacturing teams to meet monthly & quarterly targets.
• Issue production plans to factories for regular SKUs, Promo & NPDs.
• Provide RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Plan) for medium & short term
• Drive actions to improve production plan adherence
• Coordinate and ensure product availability (DIFOT) across all distribution centers (C&FA) as per agreed norms.
• Responsible for sourcing plan for all SKUs for the categories.
• Define and implement right inventory levels of finished goods across the organization right from factories to the CFAs.
• Responsible for AOP (yearly production and transportation budgets).
• Reduce backorders and lost sale
• Monitor & drive actions to reduce SLOB
• Responsible for developing teams to improve supply chain effectiveness and performance, primarily through excellent technical ability and coaching.
• Work within cross functional teams to reduce SLOB for RM / PM
• Ability to drive cross functional actions. Detail oriented
• Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions. Proactive approach
• Persuading, influencing and managing others
• Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, Power point
• Ability to collaborate with the Sales, marketing and cross functional teams

Education and experience

• 3-5 yrs. relevant experience in the area of planning and distribution, FMCG or similar industry with exposure to ERP / Planning tools.
