Pioneer Management Consultant Pvt Ltd seeks an Assistant Manager Demand & Supply Planner to reinforce the FMCG supply chain. Qualifications

• MBA SCM or BE/BTech (Industrial or Production) / BBA / B.Com / Diploma with SCM specialization and minimum 2+ years in demand and/or supply planning in FMCG/FMCD or B2C manufacturing.
• Certifications in SCM or ERP tools such as SAP or IBP will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
• Utilize statistical modeling, demand software (SAP IBP), and collaboration with sales/marketing to refine forecasts.
• Continuously adjust demand forecasts based on sales plan, market shifts, promotions, new launches, and customer insights.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels by managing stock and reordering with Central Supply Planning.
• Minimize stockouts, overstocks, and obsolescence; interface between sales, marketing and supply chain for alignment.
• Procure and source local items (pack materials, intermediates, services, finished goods); coordinate with logistics partners for timely delivery.

Position: Assistant Manager Demand & Supply Planner

Reporting: Senior Manager Supply Chain

Criteria:

MBA(SCM) / BE/ B.Tech(Industrial or Production)/ BBA / B.Com / Diploma with specialization in Supply Chain Management with Min 2+ years of experience in demand and/or supply planning within FMCG/FMCD or B2C manufacturing.

Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management or ERP tools such as SAP or IBP will be considered an added advantage.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of all relevant ERP and Planning systems (SAP, IBP, BI).
• Excel mastery; Good user knowledge in all other MS-Office tools
• Basic financial and commercial knowledge
• Good statistical, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
• Utilize statistical modeling, demand software (SAP IBP), and collaboration with sales and marketing teams to refine forecasts.
• Continuously adjust demand forecasts based on sales plan, market shifts, promotions, new product launches, and customer insights.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels by managing stock levels and reordering strategies together with Central Supply Planning.
• Minimize stockouts, overstocks, and obsolete inventory through effective planning. Act as the primary interface between the sales, marketing and supply chain teams to ensure alignment.
• Procure and Source local items like Pack material, Intermediates, Services, Finished Products Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in Demand review meetings to align demand with supply chain capacities.
• Develop supply plans to ensure product availability meets demand while optimizing inventory levels.
• Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve demand planning process and implement best practices
• Reconciliation with FG Vendors and Clearance of Invoices.
