Job summary

Dot & Key Skincare in Kolkata is seeking a Supply Planning Lead to drive distribution and replenishment planning across warehouses and sales channels, ensuring optimal inventory levels and timely product availability.

You will coordinate with Demand Planning, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams to align supply with distribution priorities, track KPIs, and optimize replenishment strategies.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Commerce, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Distribution Planning, Replenishment Planning, or Inventory Management.
• Experience in FMCG, Beauty & Personal Care, Consumer Goods, Retail or E-commerce preferred.
• Exposure to multi-location inventory planning, warehouse coordination, replenishment optimization, and KPI management.
• Strong understanding of Distribution Planning, Replenishment Planning, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Planning.
• Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive distribution planning across warehouses and sales channels, ensuring optimal inventory deployment, product availability, and service levels.
• Develop and execute replenishment plans based on demand forecasts, stock cover, inventory norms, lead times, and warehouse-level requirements.
• Monitor inventory across locations, identify stock imbalances, ageing, excess and shortfall risks, and drive inter-warehouse transfers or replenishment actions as required.
• Coordinate with Demand Planning, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams to align supply availability with distribution priorities and business requirements.
• Track fill rates, stock-outs, inventory cover, replenishment adherence, and distribution KPIs; analyse deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Support allocation planning for new launches, promotions, seasonal demand, and peak periods to ensure timely product availability across channels.
• Drive planning accuracy, process standardization, system data quality, and continuous improvement in distribution and replenishment processes.
• Depending on seniority, lead planning reviews, optimize distribution strategies, and mentor or manage the supply planning team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Supply Planning professional to drive distribution and replenishment planning across warehouses and sales channels, ensuring optimal inventory levels, timely product availability, and efficient stock allocation in alignment with business requirements.

Experience Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.

• Relevant experience in Supply Planning, Distribution Planning, Replenishment Planning, or Inventory Management, with designation aligned to demonstrated capabilities.

• Experience in FMCG, Beauty & Personal Care, Consumer Goods, Retail, or E-commerce preferred.

• Exposure to multi-location inventory planning, warehouse coordination, replenishment optimization, and planning KPI management preferred.
