The role requires 3–5 years in supply chain operations, with strong analytical skills and knowledge of S&OP. A background in SAP and international supplier coordination is a plus, and safety/compliance with 3M policies is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end demand–supply planning for the assigned portfolio.
• Collaborate with business teams to flag demand fluctuations early and ensure information flow into planning and fulfillment.
• Determine replenishment needs based on demand forecasts and execute timely purchases.
• Coordinate with imports, warehouse and customer service to ensure product availability.
• Monitor receipts and transfers to meet inventory plan and on-time delivery.
• Drive and support S&OP processes and inventory management metrics.

Job Description

The Supply Planner will be responsible for finished goods planning for assigned business portfolio to achieve target service level within inventory and cost objectives. He/ she will be part of a high-performance team driving growth in the country and region through competency and capabilities of Supply Chain professionalism.

• Drive E2E planning process for Demand – Supply alignment with all stakeholders of assigned divisions
• Continuous engagement with the business teams to pick up possible demand fluctuations early and ensure seamless information flows into the supply planning and fulfillment teams to help bridge demand-supply gaps
• Determine the replenishment needs based on demand forecasts and execute timely purchases to the plan
• Continuous engagement with vendor / intercompany teams for order status, shipments, etc., to ensure product availability on time.
• Define planning parameters, maintain master data in system and manage supply variabilities
• Identify and resolve supply exceptions by expediting purchase orders, re-allocating existing inventory and establishing safety stock parameters.
• Work closely with imports, warehouse and customer service to ensure target order fill rates are being met for daily customer orders
• Work closely with Demand Planners and Manufacturing team to resolve demand & supply related constraints
• Monitor receipts and transfers ensuring timely delivery and availability of product as well as in accordance with inventory plan
• Ensure aligned inventory strategies are incorporated into updated supply plans
• Proactively communicate supply status and potential risks while leading issue resolution to ensure supply continuity
• Conduct root cause analysis of KPI and identify/drive improvement plans
• Drive OTIF, Back Order reduction, Finished Goods Inventory management and Obsolescence metrics
• Drive and active participation in S&OP and New product launch.

Education and Experience

MBA or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations and/or Business. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations. Experience in Supply Planning and Inventory Management Proficiency in Supply Chain principles and a broad understanding of S&OP.
