Job description

At Vestas, Service Supply Chain Global Ops, we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, with optimal inventory levels. It is an ever-developing task in a progressive environment. Responsible for operational growth in warehouse and distribution related tasks. Liaise with related parties to ensure GI is done one time and handle system related configuration to ensure reliable outbound from global MRP locations. Define delivery concepts and network setup to meet customer requirements, delivery plan for all materials for the service business, across the value chain, and project management of continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Activate New Footprint in SAP ECC
• Configure APO setup for planning and loading calendar
• Initiate and maintain the required SPT
• Ensure STO interface alignment with footprint changes
• Initiate and maintain full plant setup with valid configurations as per requirements
• Setup and maintain MRP Controller rules based on business needs
• Configure and modify transportation zone rules as required
• De-activate Footprint in SAP ECC
• Manage governance of deactivated locations
• Process deactivation of locations upon request
• Footprint Management
• Maintain and administer footprint change requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Master's in Supply Chain Management
• Overall Experience of minimum 7 years with 5 years in Supply Chain Management
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC, particularly in footprint setup and configuration
• Experience with APO planning and integration
• Knowledge of STO processes and plant setup within SAP
• Ability to manage MRP and transportation zone rules effectively
• Experience in large-scale SAP implementations or footprint transitions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with cross-functional teams
• Working style is well structured, proactive and persistent
