Job summary

HP is hiring for a Supply Chain - Process Transformation Lead in Chennai. The role owns end-to-end Supply Chain operations across Sales Returns, Logistics, Procurement, Order Management, pricing and partner reconciliation.

You will drive end-to-end transformation and deliver insights using SAP S/4HANA and non‑SAP tools. The position requires deep SAP knowledge, 17–20 years in Supply Chain, and strong leadership with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• First level university degree (Engineering preferred).
• Must have extensive experience in Supply Chain functions including Sales Order Returns, Logistics, Procurement, Order Management, Pricing and Partner Payment Recons.
• 6–8 years in SAP S/4 arenas (Forward/Reverse Logistics, Procurement, Sales Order Management).
• 6–8 years driving end‑to‑end Supply Chain Process Reengineering / Transformation projects across countries.

Responsibilities

We are now Hiring for “Supply Chain - Business Operations Transformation Lead” role at Chennai location.

The primary role will be to own and manage end-to-end Supply Chain operations and transformation across Physical Claims (Sales Returns), Logistics, Procurement, Order Management, Partner Payment Reconciliation and Pricing processes. Ensure seamless operations, perform deep‑dive analysis where needed, generate insights on failures, and drive corrective actions. Furthermore, Drive end-to-end supply chain transformation by reengineering processes, challenging the status quo, and implementing innovative, scalable solutions. In parallel, lead partner payment reconciliation activities, analyze spend patterns, and deliver actionable business insights. Additionally, own Pricing and Inventory analysis, along with reporting and analytics for the Services Supply Chain. Manage day-to-day tactical and operational activities to ensure business continuity and performance.

• Drive and support key Supply Chain transformation initiatives across Product and Services domains by challenging the status quo
• Collaborate across diverse teams, regions, and supply chain models, operating effectively with minimal direction
• Exercise independent judgment within defined frameworks to determine appropriate solutions and actions
• Interpret policies, evaluate complex and unique scenarios, and provide well‑reasoned recommendations aligned with organizational goals

If you are our Supply Chain - Process Transformation Lead, you will have a chance to

• Own a broad portfolio of Sales Order Returns, Logistics, Procurement, and Order Management processes across SAP S/4HANA and non‑SAP environments
• Collaborate with partners and cross‑functional internal teams to ensure seamless execution of operations and transformational projects / programs
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep SAP expertise and strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes
• Drive business process re‑engineering and transformation, and automate using best‑in‑class technologies, including SAP S/4 scripting, Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, Agentic AI, and other digital tools
• Develop and deliver analytical reports using enterprise tools (e.g., Power BI); identify trends, generate insights, and present impact‑driven findings to leadership, including what‑if scenario analysis
• Lead and execute partner payment reconciliations and pricing file processes; perform detailed analyses and provide actionable business insights
• Monitor and review performance metrics regularly; identify improvement opportunities and drive process, tool, and system transformation initiatives through to implementation
• Analyse and support priority initiatives within defined frameworks to enable digital advancement, including AI and Agentic AI‑driven solutions
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members to build capability and drive team effectiveness

Are you a high‑performer? We are looking for an individual with

• First level university degree (Engineering preferred)
• Must have minimum 17-20 years of experience in Supply Chain function
• Experience in more than one supply chain function with primary focus on Sales Order Returns, Logistics (both Forward and Reverse), Procurement, Order Management, Pricing and Partner Payment Recons
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in various SAP S4 arenas (Forward Logistics, Reverse Logistics, Procurement and Sales Order management and Material Master)
• In addition, 6-8 years of experience in driving / owning / leaderng end‑to‑end Supply Chain Process Reengineering / Transformation projects / programs across countries
• Must possess strong knowledge of various business flows in SAP pertaining to logistics, procurement and order management and must act as an SME when / where required
• Deep knowledge of EDIs including creation, simulation and trouble shooting.
• In‑depth experience with B2B platforms used for partner communication with HP systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and executive presence
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships in a matrix organization
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (expert level in Excel, advance level PowerPoint)
• Vocal and proactive in challenging “business as usual operating models” and driving innovative solutions in the product and services supply chain domain
• Strong Project Management skills to lead cross‑functional teams; recognized as Subject Matter Expert.
• Services Supply Chain experience is an added advantage
