ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India have offices in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region. The affiliates support marketing, sales and distribution of performance, specialty chemicals and lubricants. The India planning teams are embedded with global business units for planning and analytics. The LNG affiliate provides consultant services for upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market‑development activities. The Global Business Center – Technology Center offers technical and business support services for operations around the globe.

What Role You Will Play In Our Team
- SC Network Modeling Advisors function as internal consultants to support overall and targeted supply chain system optimization and feasibility initiatives through advanced analytics techniques.
- Utilize modeling software/tools to analyze and aid in decision support for various global and regional businesses and supply chain stakeholders.
- Participate in cross‑functional improvement teams, owning the modeling/analysis activities to interpret and communicate model results.
- Recommend efficiencies across the end‑to‑end supply chain based on model outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Chemical (preferred) or Operations Research, or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics.
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in supply chain and modeling/analytics.
- Practical experience with supply chain network design optimization and/or supply chain analytics in logistics & distribution, supply & operational planning.
- Experience with software such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Query, Excel VBA, SQL, Llamasoft Data Guru, R, and/or Python for scripting and ETL.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) and Business Warehouse (BW).
- Work time zone overlapping with US time zone required.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Experience with optimization/simulation tools such as Llamasoft/Coupa Supply Chain Guru, BlueYonder Strategist, AnyLogistix, AIMMS SC Navigator, Simio, Stella, Arena, or AnyLogic.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge, ability to manage and analyze large data sets, and determine inter‑relationships of input and output data with respect to a model.
- Ability to translate general requirements and long‑term deadlines into short‑term tasks, self‑direct work, and monitor progress.
- Solicit inputs from SMEs and engage cross‑functional teams to drive results.
- Curious mindset in understanding business problems and related factors to develop solutions.
- Quick to learn different tools, leverage them to improve processes, and share learnings with others.
- Ability to view complex subjects from both high‑level and detail perspectives and communicate appropriately with different audiences.
