Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Limited is seeking a Manager - SCM to lead material procurement and planning for casting and forging parts used in vehicles and aggregates. You will drive supplier capacity planning, inventory control, and cost-saving initiatives while implementing EN change management processes.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience in the automotive supply chain and a BE in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile engineering.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical/Production/Automobile required.
• 3–5 years of relevant SCM experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in IT tools: DBM, LTP and MRP.

Responsibilities

• Material procurement and planning for casting and forging parts used in vehicles and aggregates.
• Use of IT tools - DBM / LTP / MRP for planning and execution.
• Supplier capacity planning relative to material requirements with timely escalations.
• Inventory management across the supply chain.
• Change management - EN process implementation.
• Cost savings initiatives in packaging, materials and logistics.
• Co-ordination of packaging cost and logistics savings for the department.

Manager - SCM Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Material Procurement and Planning for Casting and Forging parts required in Vehicle and Aggregates viz. Engine, TM, Axle, Foundry
2. Use of IT tools -DBM /LTP/MRP
3. Supplier Capacity Planning wrt material requirement and timely escalations in case of gaps
4. Inventory Management
5. Change management - EN process
6. Cost Savings - Packaging / Material / Logistics
7. Co-ordination of Packaging Cost / Logistics Savings for the Department.

Experience 3 - 5 years of relevant Work Experience Industry Preferred Qualifications B E (Mechanical / Production / Automobile)
