Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) India is seeking a SAP S/4HANA AATP Functional Analyst to drive order sourcing, scheduling and backlog management within a Hybrid work model requiring ~2 days in-office per week.

You will configure and optimize AATP, manage supply-demand balance, and integrate automation to enhance planning accuracy and lead times across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, SCM, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience in SCM modules (MM, SD, PP).
• 2-3 years configuring SAP S/4HANA AATP or similar order-promising and scheduling functionality.
• 3-5 years in demand planning, supply chain operations, production scheduling, or order fulfillment, preferably in high-tech industry.
• Strong experience in Sales order scheduling, delivery, sourcing, STO and system integration areas.
• Experience in Logistics execution: shipping, scheduling, outbound delivery, STO, and route determination.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA AATP configurations for order sourcing, scheduling, and backlog management.
• Configure AATP rules, constraints, and planning parameters to optimize order promising and supply allocation.
• Gather functional requirements and document scheduling constraints and backlog priorities from demand planning, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot AATP configuration issues and integration problems with MM, SD, PP, IBP.
• Design and implement integration between AATP and forecasting, supply planning, and order-to-cash systems.
• Support implementation and monitoring of RPA/IPA solutions for scheduling tasks and backlog reporting.
• Analyze order fulfilment metrics and create documentation for AATP configurations and workflows.
• Monitor promise accuracy and lead time using analytics and optimization tools.
• Perform UAT and scenario testing for scheduling rules and planning workflows.

Workstream-Specific Details

The SAP S/4HANA Functional Analyst for Order Sourcing, Scheduling & Backlog Management enables HPE's demand and supply planning operations through advanced SAP S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP) functionality.

This role requires deep technical expertise in order fulfillment processes, production scheduling, backlog optimization, and system integration. The candidate will configure and optimize AATP solutions, manage supply‑demand balancing, and integrate intelligent automation and autonomous planning systems to enhance planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and backlog visibility. This role is critical to HPE's supply chain resilience and digital transformation initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA AATP configurations aligned with order sourcing, scheduling, and backlog management requirements.
• Configure AATP rules, constraints, and planning parameters to optimize order promising and supply allocation accuracy.
• Gather functional requirements and document order sourcing, scheduling constraints, and backlog management priorities from demand planning, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot AATP configuration issues, planning discrepancies, and integration problems with related SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, IBP).

• Monitor order promise accuracy and lead time performance using advanced analytics and optimization tools.
• Perform UAT and scenario testing for new scheduling rules, AATP configurations, and planning workflows.
• Provide technical feedback on system performance and recommend configuration refinements.

What you need to bring

Education And Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA in supply chain modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Minimum 2-3 years of specific experience configuring and supporting SAP S/4HANA AATP or similar order‑promising and scheduling functionality.
• Minimum 3-5 years in demand planning, supply chain operations, production scheduling, or order fulfillment, preferably in high‑tech industry.
• Strong in‑depth experience in Sales order Scheduling, delivery, Sourcing, STO and system integration areas.
• Experience with solutions in SAP for order fulfillment/Supply chain function.
• Experience in Logistics execution: Shipping (Delivery processing, Picking, Packing, Goods Issue, Printing and Communication in Shipping), Scheduling, Outbound Delivery, Stock Transport Orders (STO), Shipment Processing and Route Determination.

Knowledge And Skills

• Expert proficiency in SAP S/4HANA AATP functionality including order promising, supply allocation, constraint‑based planning, and integration with MM, SD, PP, and IBP modules.
• Strong understanding of high‑tech manufacturing operations, product lifecycles, production scheduling, capacity planning, and order‑to‑cash processes.
• Solid knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, autonomous agents, multi‑agent orchestration platforms, and agent instruction design for planning workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with ability to troubleshoot AATP configuration issues, integration problems, and planning discrepancies.
• Proficiency in data validation, master data management, and quality assurance across planning processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams including demand planning, supply chain, manufacturing, data science, and technology teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in evolving technology‑driven environments with adaptability and continuous learning mindset.
