Job summary

Optimas is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Planner in Pune, India to optimize product availability through collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams including Sales, Sourcing, Operations and Customer Support.

You will maintain strong supplier relationships, support initial order planning, resolve day-to-day supply issues, and monitor KPI performance while embracing Optimas THREAD values.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations to ensure timely receipt of parts and resolve shipping/invoice queries.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain Analysts and Demand Planning to improve forecasts.
• Implement supply chain strategies and manage day-to-day issues.
• Utilize daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to optimize inventory.
• Meet or exceed Supply Chain Planner KPIs.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Position overview:

Optimas is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Supply Chain Planner, responsible for optimizing product availability through outstanding collaboration with external suppliers as well as other members of the Supply Chain, Sourcing, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support Teams.

Principal Activities:

• Maintain strong supplier relationships;
• Meet and/or exceed service expectations and initiatives of the business;
• Partner with the Sales, Sourcing and Operations teams to address urgent customer needs
• Adhere and perform to the supply chain planner key performance indicators;
• Adhere to and embrace the THREAD values of Optimas.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively with suppliers to maintain a strong relationship
• Supporting the initial order planning and acknowledgement process and then keeping the orderbook aligned with system requirements, efficiently resolving any day-to-day supply issues
• Identifying and resolving potential supply risks, expediting parts where needed to ensure continued supply of parts to our customers
• Communicating effectively with the Operations team to ensure timely receipt of parts and swift resolution of shipping and invoice queriesCollaborate with Technical Service Department and external suppliers on Quality issues;
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain Analysts and the Demand Planning Team, identifying issues and performing root cause analysis to improve the system forecast
• Implement supply chain strategies & manage day to day supply issues.
• Utilize Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting to optimize inventory investment;
• Meet or exceed Supply Chain Planner Key Performance Indicators;
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
