Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst, Labor Planning to optimize labor capacity across our global fulfillment network. You will build planning tools and dashboards, analyze capacity, and ensure efficiency while aligning plans with merchant SLAs.

You will partner with operations and cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in labor or capacity planning, strong Excel skills, and experience with SQL; PowerBI and Python familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in labor or capacity planning within warehousing or fulfillment environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; SQL knowledge; familiarity with PowerBI and Python preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Supply Chain Analyst, Labor Planning will support and enhance our labor and capacity planning functions at ShipBob. With a growing global network of fulfillment centers, you will play a critical role in analyzing labor requirements, building planning tools, and ensuring operational efficiency across sites. You will work closely with operations stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to optimize labor allocation and meet merchant SLAs. This role will report to the Supply Chain Operations, Labor Planning Manager.

What you’ll do
  • Assessing current and projected labor capacity across fulfillment centers to optimize for cost and SLA performance.
  • Maintain and update staff planning models for all facilities.
  • Build and maintain labor planning tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.

What you’ll bring to the table
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in labor or capacity planning within warehousing or fulfillment environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL; familiarity with PowerBI and Python preferred
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
