Job summary

C&A Sourcing Jobs Asia is seeking a data analytics professional to design and deliver supply chain dashboards and reports, translating business needs into actionable insights.

You will collaborate with planning, logistics and finance teams to improve lead times, inventory coverage and cost visibility, leveraging Power BI or similar tools.

Job description

• Requirements and process definition: document current-state planning processes, data sources and pain points, and translate business needs into specifications the analytics engineers can build.
• Deep dives and decision support: coverage and availability analysis, inbound delay impact, allocation performance, freight and landed-cost analysis, vendor performance packs.
• Reporting that earns its place: build the recurring views planners genuinely use, and retire the ones they do not.
• Design and implement business reporting / dashboard for the Supply Chain teams to support business strategy and day-to-day operations.
• Provide day-to-day operation-level analysis support to operation team so as to improve operational efficiency in terms of lead time, forecast, capacity & cost.
• The 48-hour directional answer. Take a planning or sourcing question, get to a defensible number fast, and state the confidence level explicitly. Speed with honest error bars beats precision after the decision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
• 3–5 years experience in analytics or business analysis with strong SQL (writes complex queries independently) and fluency in a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase or similar).
• Retail, fashion, e-commerce or supply chain domain knowledge: understands inventory, sell-through, coverage, allocation, lead times and why they matter commercially.
• Requirements and process skill: can document a process, write a clear specification, and structure an ambiguous business question into an answerable one.
• Judgement under time pressure: comfortable delivering a directional answer with stated assumptions.
• Experience with data visualization using PowerBI, MicroStrategy, or similar tools.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and proven track record of an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams at all levels.
• Strong commitment and dedication to tasks, with a willingness to take on tasks outside of the usual remit.
• Uses AI assistants fluently as part of their engineering workflow, with judgement about output quality.
