Alstom Transport India Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a mid-level Supplier Sales & Operations Planning Analyst to drive quarterly S&OP cycles. You will collaborate with SDPMs, CMs, and project teams to assess supplier capacity and align with global demand across ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and run quarterly S&OP cycles for all suppliers.
• Gather S&OP data for an 18-month horizon across demand, future awards, and capacity.
• Secure data and provide visualization to support the process.
• Organize/S&OP restitution meetings with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
• Provide inputs for supplier delivery risks before business awards.
• Support crisis supplier capacity de-bottlenecking and improvements if designated.
• Analyze quarterly PO data against internal planning and supplier lead times.
• Define and monitor actions to improve PO placement with Alstom sites.

Conduct quarterly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) analysis cycles to determine if the allocated Supplier(s) have the required Supply Chain Maturity and adequate capacity to satisfy Alstom's global demand

Collaborate with Supplier Delivery Performance Managers (SDPMs), Procurement/ Commodity Managers (CMs), Crisis Leaders (CLs), Crisis Management Team (CCMT), Material Planners/Project Managers for supplier capacity risks assessment

We’ll look to you for:

• Prepare, moderate and run the quarterly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) analysis cycles for all the suppliers on the portfolio
• Collaborate with the other stakeholders to define and gather the S&OP related data for a minimum horizon of 18 months:
  • Alstom’s current global demand (ongoing projects) from Material Planners/Project Managers
  • Alstom’s future business anticipated to be awarded to the supplier from CMs
  • Total/dedicated production capacity of the supplier from SDPMs
  • Supplier’s perspective on Alstom’s demand from SDPMs/Global Demand Material Planners
• Secure the data in order to provide right efficiency to the process and relevant data visualization
• Organize and prepare the Supplier S&OP restitution meetings with all stakeholders for each cycle to present the consolidated S&OP data with its key findings, conclusions and recommendations for decision making
• Contribute to Supplier Delivery risks assessment & Management before any Business Award
  • Provide inputs for Supplier Delivery risks before the Business Award for all projects.
• If Supplier is designated as “Crisis Supplier", Support the Crisis Management Team on Capacity de-bottlenecking and Capability improvement actions.
• Conduct quarterly analyses of the purchase orders issued by Alstom sites, comparing them with the internal production planning as well as the production and transport lead times confirmed by the supplier
• Define and follow up action plan to improve the PO placement in collaboration with Alstom sites
