Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Goa team. You will be part of a global network ensuring suppliers meet Siemens quality standards and driving improvements across procurement, engineering and production.

You will gain hands‑on experience with international projects, early responsibility, and a clear development path within Supplier Quality Management in a vibrant, international team in Goa.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Initial experience in quality, production, or manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of quality methods (e.g. FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in international teams.
  • Experience and Certification as auditor for ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3 are a plus.
  • Fluency in English; local language is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support supplier qualification and approval processes in collaboration with procurement.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and continuously improved.
  • Participate in supplier audits and follow up on improvement actions.
  • Analyze quality issues and support root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5Why).
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations).
  • Monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Initial experience in quality, production, or manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of quality methods (e.g. FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in international teams
