You will drive APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and RCA, conduct supplier audits, and push continuous improvement, while supporting export projects and compliance requirements across global operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supplier Quality / Supplier Development / Manufacturing (5-8 years)
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of casting, machining, fabrication, and FRP/composites
• Exposure to FRP blade manufacturing, molding, curing, and inspection preferred
• Hands-on with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and RCA (8D/5 Why)
• Background in heavy engineering / rotating equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify suppliers for castings, machining, fabrication components
• Will be responsible for development and quality of FRP products in Chennai factory.
• Drive APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and process validation at supplier end & in factory
• Support new product development (NPD) and prototype readiness
• Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement
• Improve supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost
• Support export projects, customer audits, and compliance requirements
