Job summary

70 Woodward India Private Limited in Pune is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to lead supplier performance analysis, drive process improvements, and collaborate with procurement, quality assurance, and engineering teams to strengthen supplier capability and integration.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of related experience, strong data analysis and project management skills, and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Atleast 8-10 years of experience in related field.
• Experience in supplier development and manufacturing or supply chain.
• Ability to analyze data and drive improvements across processes.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Performance Analysis:Evaluate supplier data to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancements.
• Process Improvement Initiatives:Develop plans to optimize supplier capabilities and ensure standards compliance.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration:Partner with procurement, quality assurance, and engineering teams for supplier development and integration.
• Training and Support:Provide guidance and training to new team members and suppliers on technical requirements.
• Issue Resolution:Identify and resolve supplier-related issues to maintain quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Performance Analysis: Evaluates supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancement strategies.
• Process Improvement Initiatives: Develops and executes process optimization plans to enhance supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with company standards.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partners with procurement, quality assurance, and engineering teams to facilitate effective supplier development and integration.
• Training and Support: Provides informal guidance and training to new team members and suppliers to enhance technical skills and understanding of company requirements.
• Issue Resolution: Identifies and resolves supplierrelated issues using technical expertise and judgment to maintain quality and timely delivery.

• Technical Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed technical documents, reports, and specifications to support supplier development efforts.
