Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee plant activities, manage manpower, schedule work, assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure on-time completion and quality. The role requires leadership capabilities, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues including Grinding, Milling, Sink EDM and Wire EDM.

Diploma/ITI holders with 8+ years of experience, including 2-3 years in supervisory roles, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge in Grinding, Milling, Sink EDM & Wire EDM machining.
• Diploma / ITI qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant activities, manage manpower, schedule work, assign tasks and monitor progress for on-time completion and quality.
• Lead and develop personnel, conduct performance reviews.
• Train new employees on proper tool usage, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Capable to understand drawings & trouble shoot in machining problems. Should have leadership qualities and possess good communication skills. Manage personnel: performance reviews. Train new employees on proper tool usage, maintenance, and safety procedures. Ensure safety: Enforce company safety standards and procedures

Experience and Education Requirements

Minimum 8 years’ experience with 2-3 years in supervisory role. Knowledge in Grinding, Milling, Sink EDM & Wire EDM machining. Qualification: Diploma / ITI
