Job summary

Aptiv Connection Systems India in Ernakulam, Kerala, is seeking an EDM Machine Operator to operate EDM machines and fabricate tooling parts according to engineering drawings.

The role requires reading drawings, familiarity with machining tools and cutting speeds, and basic maintenance and troubleshooting; ITI or Diploma is preferred with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in machining or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in EDM or similar machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate EDM machines and make tooling parts per drawing dimensions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure correct part features.
• Familiar with machining tools, cutting speeds and feeds; perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
