Job summary

Safran is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert – RF to lead technical discussions, define RF architectures, and drive solutions across RF Test Systems, ATE, RF Simulation and related test platforms. The role includes interaction with customers, pre-sales support, and mentoring of engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have strong hands-on experience in RF signals, microwave systems, and system integration, with knowledge of Radar, EW, avionics or aerospace communications.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in RF systems, RF Test & Measurement, ATE or RF Simulation.
• Experience in RF signal generation and analysis, transmitters/receivers, microwave/mmWave systems.
• Knowledge of Radar, EW, Avionics or Aerospace Communication is preferred.
• Experience in System Architecture, Requirements Engineering and System Integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing technical discussions and requirement analysis.

• Support pre-sales, technical proposals, SOWs, estimation and solution definition.

We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert – Radio Frequency (RF) to join our team and provide technical leadership in RF Test Systems, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), RF Simulation, and Test & Measurement solutions.

• Lead customer-facing technical discussions and requirement analysis.
• Define RF system architectures and technical solutions.
• Support pre-sales, technical proposals, SOWs, estimation and solution definition.
• Develop solutions for RF Test Systems, ATE, RF Simulation, EW/Avionics Test Benches and Communication Test Platforms.
• Support system integration, verification, troubleshooting and technical risk assessment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Strong experience in RF systems, RF Test & Measurement, ATE or RF Simulation.

Experience with one or more of:

NI PXI/PXIe, LabVIEW, RFmx, NI VST, USRP, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu or Tektronix.

M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, RF & Microwave, Communication Systems, Electronics, Telecommunication or related field.

Preferred Industry Experience

Aerospace & Defence, Avionics, Radar, Electronic Warfare, RF & Microwave, Test & Measurement or Mission-Critical Systems.
