Job summary

Vrinda International invites applications for a Subject Matter Expert – General Ledger (GL/R2R) to oversee accounting operations for US-based clients. You will review GL activities, month-end closings, reconciliations, payroll and tax-related entries to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in Finance & Accounting, strong know‑how of GL/R2R processes, and excellent analytical and verbal/written communication.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GL / R2R processes.
• Strong accounting principles and reconciliation experience.
• Experience in reviewing/managing accounting activities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Oracle / M3 / Yardi is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Review General Ledger and month-end closing activities
• Handle bank & balance sheet reconciliations, payroll accounting, income journals and sales tax activities
• Review monthly financial reports and deliverables
• Monitor and manage accounting activities performed by preparers
• Track errors and prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports
• Identify and resolve unreconciled and aged items with internal teams and clients
• Regularly interact with clients through emails and calls
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial submissions
• Monitor work allocation, productivity and monthly KPI metrics
• Escalate pending issues to management when required
• Ensure compliance with information security and control procedures
