Role Description

The Subject Matter Expert (Commerce) will design, review, and refine academic content for commerce subjects, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with relevant curricula and exam patterns. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and validating solutions, drafting lecture scripts, preparing notes, and developing practice questions that can be used by Arivihan’s AI tutor and automated learning platform. The role involves collaborating with content and product teams to optimize learning pathways, improve question banks, and support personalization features for commerce learners. The Subject Matter Expert will also analyze learner performance data to suggest content enhancements and ensure that materials support measurable academic improvement. This is a full-time, on‑site role based in Indore.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Commerce, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, or related disciplines, preferably with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Demonstrated expertise in school or undergraduate-level commerce curricula, competitive exam patterns, and educational standards relevant to Indian students.
• Experience in academic content creation, including developing lecture scripts, explanatory notes, and structured practice questions.
• Ability to review and validate solutions for accuracy, conceptual depth, and learner-friendly explanations.
• Comfort working with digital tools, learning platforms, and basic data analysis to understand learner performance and improve content.
• Strong written communication skills in English; ability to convey complex commerce concepts in simple, clear language.
• Attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Prior experience in edtech, teaching, test preparation, or curriculum design is an advantage.
• Interest in AI‑driven education and openness to adapting content for automated and personalized learning experiences.
