Job summary

Safran is seeking a Sub-Contracting Engineer in Hyderabad to manage procurement and subcontracting for external repair parts within the supply chain. You will generate POs, track deliveries, verify quotes, and ensure on-time material flow while maintaining supplier relations.

The role requires 6–8 years in procurement/sub-contracting, SAP MM proficiency, and strong Excel/MS Office skills; Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Significant knowledge and past experience in Supply Chain processes (Procurement, Sub-contracting, MRP analysis, PR to PO, Outbound/Inbound shipment follow-up, Logistics.) and relevant tools.
• Proficiency in SAP MM.
• MS Office Tools.
• Power BI knowledge shall be an added advantage.
• Operational: B.Tech with 6–8 years experience.
• Procurement & Sub-contracting experience.
• Interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Problem solving, communication & team working.

Responsibilities

• Track the coverage of external repair parts.
• Generate Purchase orders and Delivery Notes to ship-out parts for repairs.
• Verify Repair Quote and Technical report to amend the PO.
• Track the material until it is received at the facility on-time.
• Create and maintain healthy relationships with Suppliers for long-term association.
• Track availability of Used/Standard exchange parts and secure approvals to avoid production stoppages.
• Define and deliver KPIs on supply performance.
• Ensure exemplary communication with all stakeholders including internal associates and global customers through regular updates.
• Interact with logistics partners to track shipments.
• Interact with Supply Chain monitoring team to give feedback on ETA and critical parts.
• Update SAP material master records.
• Perform transactions to allocate parts on the right order/project and arbitration if needed.
