Job summary

Safran in Bengaluru seeks a Special Process Quality Assurance Lead M/F to manage supplier qualification dossiers, audit suppliers and supervise on-site QC for chemical processing, coating and heat treatment.

You will drive PPAP in APQP environments, oversee monitoring plans, verify processing and traceability, and lead QRQC sessions with SP suppliers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in special processes QA.
• Knowledge of ISO/AS standards and PPAP.
• Experience with supplier qualification and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Supplier Qualification Dossier and perform preliminary audit assessment
• Surveillance of qualified suppliers and extension of qualifications
• Management of monitoring actions as defined by the monitoring plan
• Periodic review of the periodic monitoring elements to check that the periodicities are respected and the deviations declared to SAFRAN
• Verification of the processing applied by the operator and traceability of recordings of processing parameters
• Verification of the inspection phase and traceability of records
• During industrializations, performs Quality Performance reviews with Suppliers
• Support daily QRQC Boards at SP Suppliers providing feedback and obtaining answers to identified issues

Candidate skills & requirements

• Knowledge & Auditing Experience in Chemical Processing, Coating and Heat Treatment Process
• Experienced in managing a Special Process Shop and knowledge on equipment's set up
• In depth knowledge of the PPAP process and requirements in an APQP environment
• Supply chain principles and tools, including performance audits
• Project Management (PMP certifications)
• Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
• Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Understanding of quality standards such as ISO/AS
