WeConnect Overseas is seeking a dynamic Study Abroad Counselor to manage student admissions and visa formalities from inquiry through visa approval.

You will counsel students and parents, assess profiles, coordinate with universities, and guide candidates through applications, documentation, and travel planning, while offering career growth in a fast-growing overseas education and immigration consultancy.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate with 1–4 years in overseas education or counseling.
• Excellent communication in English and Hindi.
• Experience in immigration consulting or client-facing roles.
• Knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Study Abroad Counselor who can independently handle both student admissions and visa formalities.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about counseling, possess excellent communication skills, and have prior experience in overseas education, immigration consulting, or a similar client-facing role.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete student admission lifecycle—from initial counseling to visa approval—as well as handling candidates seeking overseas employment and work visa opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

A. Study Abroad Counseling & Admissions

• Counsel students and parents regarding higher education opportunities abroad.
• Understand student profiles, academic background, career goals, and financial capacity.
• Recommend suitable countries, universities, and courses based on the student's profile.
• Explain admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, and post-study work opportunities.
• Assist students with university applications and admission documentation.
• Guide students in preparing:
• Statement of Purpose (SOP)
• Letters of Recommendation (LORs)
• Resume/CV
• Academic documentation
• Coordinate with university representatives and admission teams.
• Monitor application progress and ensure timely submission of documents.
• Assist students with offer letters, tuition fee payments, accommodation guidance, education loans, forex, and travel planning.
• Prepare students for visa interviews wherever applicable.
• Handle the complete student visa filing process and documentation.
• Ensure a smooth experience from initial inquiry until the student successfully receives their visa.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

• Any Graduate (Degree/Stream not a limitation)

Experience

Minimum 1–4 years of experience in one or more of the following:

• Overseas Education Consulting
• Study Abroad Counseling
• Immigration Consulting
• International Admissions
• Sales & Counseling
• Client Relationship Management

Skills Required

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
• Strong counseling and interpersonal skills
• Good sales and negotiation abilities
• Ability to understand candidate requirements quickly
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
• Target-oriented approach
• Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously
• Good documentation and organizational skills
• Knowledge of MS Office, CRM software, email communication, and WhatsApp Business
