Job summary

AdmitX is seeking an Overseas Education Counsellor in Gurugram to guide students through the study abroad journey, shortlist courses, and ensure smooth admissions and enrollment.

You will manage onboarding, provide expert guidance on programs and exams, serve as the single point of contact for families, and track applications to ensure timely progress and queries are resolved.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of overseas education consulting experience.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a student-centric mindset.
• Strong knowledge of destination countries, application processes and university requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, psychology or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

Job description

As an Overseas Education Counsellor, you will guide and support students through their study abroad journey. You will play a key role in helping them shortlist the right-fit courses and universities and ensuring a seamless admission and enrollment process.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Student Journey: Manage a portfolio of students, including onboarding, detailed counselling, regular follow-ups, and ensuring their overall success.
• Expert Guidance: Build a deep understanding of universities, programs, admissions processes, and eligibility requirements, including exams like GRE, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL.
• Single Point of Contact: Build a strong rapport with students as their dedicated advisor for all admission-related guidance.
• Application Tracking: Support students with their university applications, regularly tracking their progress and resolving queries.
