Job summary

iQuanta is seeking a Studio Manager to own end-to-end studio operations including equipment, scheduling, and coordinating with faculty for live classes and recordings. The role requires hands-on setup, proactive issue resolution and on-site presence in our Gurugram campus.

You will manage cameras, audio, lighting, and production workflows, ensuring timely sessions, quality setups and efficient space utilisation in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of studio management, video production or EdTech operations experience.
  • Hands-on operation of professional cameras, microphones, lighting and basics of studio gear.
  • Ability to independently set up and operate recording equipment.
  • Strong coordination and scheduling skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the iQuanta studio for live classes, recordings and shoots.
  • Handle and maintain cameras, mics, lighting and other production equipment with proper setup before sessions.
  • Coordinate with faculty, academic and content teams to schedule classes, recordings and shoots as per calendars.
  • Ensure timely studio setup and troubleshoot basic camera, audio, lighting and connectivity issues.

Job description

iQuanta is a leading education platform serving a community of 6 lakh+ aspirants, with a strong presence across CAT, OMETs, IPMAT, CUET, CLAT, NEET, JEE, GMAT, Study Abroad and other competitive exam categories.

We are looking for a Studio Manager who can take complete ownership of our studio operations and ensure that classes, recordings, shoots, equipment and schedules run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the iQuanta studio, ensuring it is always ready for live classes, recorded lectures, faculty shoots and other content requirements.
  • Handle and maintain studio cameras, microphones, lighting, tripods, teleprompters and other production equipment, ensuring proper setup and functioning before every session.
  • Coordinate with faculty, academic teams and content teams to schedule and manage classes, recordings and shoots as per planned calendars.
  • Ensure timely setup of the studio before every class/recording and troubleshoot basic camera, audio, lighting and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain a detailed studio booking and class schedule, avoiding clashes and ensuring optimum utilisation of available studios.
  • Coordinate with faculty members regarding their reporting time, recording requirements, studio setup and session schedules.
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of recordings, including camera framing, audio quality, lighting, background and overall studio setup.
  • Coordinate with the technical/content team for live classes, recorded lectures, YouTube shoots, social media shoots and promotional content.
  • Maintain an inventory of all studio equipment and ensure proper handling, storage and regular maintenance.
  • Identify equipment or infrastructure issues and coordinate with vendors/technical teams for repairs, replacements and maintenance.
  • Ensure the studio remains clean, organised and professionally maintained at all times.
  • Maintain records of studio usage, equipment, recordings, class schedules and production-related activities.
  • Ensure that all scheduled classes and recordings start on time and minimise production-related delays.
  • Support the team in scaling iQuanta's video content production across YouTube, app content, social media and academic courses.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in studio management, video production, broadcast, EdTech or a similar environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of professional cameras, microphones, lighting and basic studio equipment.
  • Ability to independently set up and operate cameras and recording equipment.
  • Good understanding of audio-video recording workflows and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong coordination and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple classes, faculty members and recording requirements simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying operational issues.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced EdTech/content production environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site and according to class/recording schedules.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Studio utilisation and availability: Ensure studios are available and properly set up for all scheduled sessions.
  • On-time class/recording readiness: Minimise delays caused by studio or equipment-related issues.
  • Equipment uptime: Ensure cameras, microphones, lighting and other equipment remain functional and well-maintained.
  • Scheduling efficiency: Maintain accurate studio and class schedules with minimal clashes or cancellations.
  • Recording quality: Ensure consistent audio, video, lighting and framing standards across recordings.
  • Operational efficiency: Reduce downtime and production disruptions while supporting the increasing content requirements of iQuanta.
What We're Looking For

Someone who can own the studio end-to-end - from managing equipment and scheduling classes to coordinating with faculty and ensuring every recording starts on time with the right setup.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically comfortable, organised and capable of managing the studio independently in a high-volume EdTech environment.
