Qualifications

• Candidates should be final-year students or recent graduates interested in Student Success, Operations, or Academic Management.
• Experience in internships, volunteering, campus leadership, mentoring, or teaching assistance is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as mentor and first point of contact for students' academic and career guidance.
• Conduct regular 1:1 check-ins to understand student progress, challenges, and goals.
• Provide structured guidance, clarity, and motivation to keep students on track.
• Escalate complex or sensitive student concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain student progress trackers using Google Sheets / Excel.
• Assist in reviewing academic and engagement data for student monitoring.
• Share key observations and insights with the Operations Manager for timely interventions.

Role Overview:

The Student Operations Intern will work closely with the Operations Manager to support students throughout their academic journey. This role focuses on student guidance, mentoring, engagement, and progress tracking, ensuring students stay motivated, make informed decisions, and remain on track to achieve their goals. This internship is ideal for students and recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in student success, mentorship, and academic operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Guidance & Mentorship

• Act as a mentor and first point of contact for students for academic and career-related guidance.
• Conduct regular 1:1 check-ins to understand student progress, challenges, and goals.
• Provide structured guidance, clarity, and motivation to keep students on track.
• Escalate complex or sensitive student concerns to the Operations Manager.

2. Student Engagement & Support

• Support and execute student engagement initiatives to improve learning outcomes.
• Identify students who may need additional attention or intervention.
• Assist in conducting mentoring sessions, group discussions, and touchpoints.
• Collect and share student feedback to improve engagement and mentoring processes.

3. Progress Tracking & Insights

• Maintain and update student progress trackers using Google Sheets / Excel.
• Assist in reviewing academic and engagement data for student monitoring.
• Share key observations and insights with the Operations Manager for timely interventions.

• Final-year students, recent graduates, or candidates looking to build a career in Student Success, Operations, or Academic Management.
• Prior internship, volunteering, campus leadership, mentoring, teaching assistance, or student-facing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
