Job summary

Narayana Health in Kolkata seeks a Clinical Anaesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia services in the operation theatre, including routine and emergency cases. The role emphasizes pre-anaesthetic assessment, planning, consent, and high standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

The incumbent will work under Consultant supervision, adhere to NABH guidelines, and participate in ongoing training, research, and practice improvements as part of a dynamic clinical team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform and document pre-anaesthetic check-up.
• Formulate anaesthetic plan of care.
• Obtain and document informed consent.
• Order appropriate investigations.
• Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients.
• Interpret laboratory and radiology results.
• Order transfusions of blood and blood products.
• Order appropriate medication and other orders.
• Maintain anaesthesia record.
• Adhere to protocols and checklists.
• Perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
• Perform arterial puncture.
• Insert urethral catheter.
• Administer regional anaesthesia.
