We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in structural engineering and a strong background in designing and analyzing structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and stability of various structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing and analyzing structures to ensure they meet safety and building code requirements.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop structural designs.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures.
- Preparing reports, drawings, and specifications for construction projects.
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
