Responsibilities

• Prepares and checks structural drawings, 3D models and MTO.
• Ensures drafting deliverables meet client specs, procedures, and schedule.
• Maintains a filing system for drawings and documents.
• Manages own time to meet deadlines.
• Ensures work follows MDR and project QA/QC systems.
• Maintains progress and productivity of drafting deliverables.

Structural Draftsman musthave expanded skills in an analytical / scientific method or operationalprocess and applies them to perform a variety of activities. Maintainsappropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed. Appliesexperience and skills to complete assigned work within our area of expertise. Workswithin standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods. Workswith a moderate degree of supervision.

• Ensuredrafting deliverables are issued per client specification, applicableprocedures, fabrication sequence and within agreed schedule and budget

Essential Qualificationsand Education:

• Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Design or Drafting
• Detailedknowledge of associated industry detailing standards
• Expertisein 3D (Tekla) & 2D (Autocad / Microstation) structural drafting, modelling,and drawing extraction
• Ableto communicate well in English
• Minimum3 years of Structural 2D & 3D drafting with major contractor or consultantof which 1+ years of experience in predominately offshore oil and gas

Preferred Qualifications andEducation:

• Appropriate licenses ortraining certification
• Knowledge in S3D, PDS, PDMSsoftware
