Job summary

Evarastaffing is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to lead structural design and engineering initiatives for large-scale Data Centres and commercial building projects in India.

You will perform design, analysis, review calculations, drawings, BOQs, and coordinate with architects, MEPs, consultants, and contractors while ensuring compliance with codes such as AISC, ASTM and TIA-942.

Qualifications

• B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering required.
• 5–8 years of relevant structural design experience.
• Experience on data centre or large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Proficient in STAAD.Pro and ETABS.
• Familiarity with RCDC and stability analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for buildings and data centre projects.
• Prepare, review, and validate structural calculations, drawings, reports, BOQs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, MEP engineers, external consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Review and validate 3D models and structural drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Conduct design reviews, construction reviews, and regular site visits to ensure quality and compliance.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable structural codes, standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and deliver innovative technical design solutions.

Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in structural design.
• Proven experience on data centre or large-scale commercial projects (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in STAAD.Pro and ETABS.
• Familiarity with RCDC and structural stability analysis (preferred).
• Knowledge of TIA-942, Uptime Institute standards, AISC, ASTM, and other relevant codes (preferred).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and project management skills.
