Job summary

JACOB ENGINEERS PVT LTD is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with 5–8 years of experience for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The candidate must be based in Tamil Nadu.

You will design RCC and steel structures, prepare drawings and calculations, and use AutoCAD, IDEA StatiCa, RCDC, and SAFE. Collaboration with architects and project teams is essential to ensure IS code compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of IS codes and structural design standards.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant IS codes and safety standards.
• Support site teams in resolving structural design and execution issues.
• Review structural drawings and shop drawings.
• Coordinate design requirements and provide technical support throughout the project.

• 5–8 years of experience in structural design.
• Candidates must be based in Tamil Nadu (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of RCC and steel structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, IDEA StatiCa, RCDC, and SAFE.
• Good understanding of relevant IS codes and structural design standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial and industrial projects.
• Knowledge of Revit, Tekla, or BIM.
• Experience in preparing structural calculations and detailed design documentation.
