Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Mumbai seeks an experienced BIM Engineer to develop and detail 2D/3D models and drawings, ensuring QC and timely delivery. You will coordinate with BIM coordinators and PMs, and drive standardized workflows across projects in the Energy sector.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in modelling with Revit and AutoCAD, with Hydropower exposure, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• ITI in respective engineering discipline; diploma/degree adds advantage.
• 5 to 10 years of modelling and detailing experience.
• Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage.
• Experience in RCC and structural steel modelling and detailing for other sectors is acceptable if relevant.
• Proficient in 2D/3D modelling using Revit, AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated involvement in delivery of Hydropower projects.
• Technology-focused with awareness of industry developments.
• Ability to guide, troubleshoot and train BIM team members.
• Ability to assist in modelling and extraction of deliverables.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Team player with multi-disciplinary coordination skills.

Job description

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing models and drawings, quantities take off/ Schedules
• Understanding client requirements and standards for developing models, details and drawings.
• Ensuring QC process is being followed, delivery to the right quality and timelines
• Standardizing workflows based on the project requirements and managing electronic information
• Coordination with BIM coordinators and Project Managers
• Promotes standardization of components and processes

Candidate Specification:

• ITI in respective Engineering discipline. Diploma/Degree will be an added advantage.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of Modelling and detailing.
• Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage
• Experience in other sector can be considered if the candidate has expertise in modelling and detailing of RCC and structural steel structures.
• Should be well conversant with 2D/3D modelling using Revit, AutoCAD.
• Should demonstrate substantial involvement in the delivery of Hydropower project.
• Should be technology focused and understand industry developments.
• Should be able to guide, troubleshoot and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects and drive outcomes
• Should be able to assist in Modelling and Extraction of deliverables
• Good communication skills and leadership skills
• A professional attitude towards work and self-motivated
• Be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skill
