Job summary

Mott MacDonald Group is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop models and drawings, ensuring quality and timely delivery for energy projects. You will coordinate with BIM coordinators and project managers, standardize workflows, and guide junior team members in BIM development.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of experience in modelling and detailing, with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and a strong focus on delivery excellence within multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• ITI in engineering is required; Diploma/ Degree adds advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in modelling and detailing.
• Experience in energy/power projects is beneficial.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D modelling using Revit/AutoCAD; RCC and structural steel experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to guide and train team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop models, drawings, quantities take-offs and schedules.
• Understand client requirements and standards for models and drawings.

Job description

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing models and drawings, quantities take off/ Schedules
• Understanding client requirements and standards for developing models, details and drawings.
• Ensuring QC process is being followed, delivery to the right quality and timelines
• Standardizing workflows based on the project requirements and managing electronic information
• Coordination with BIM coordinators and Project Managers
• Promotes standardization of components and processes

Candidate Specification:

• ITI in respective Engineering discipline. Diploma/Degree will be an added advantage.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of Modelling and detailing.
• Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage
• Experience in other sector can be considered if the candidate has expertise in modelling and detailing of RCC and structural steel structures.
• Should be well conversant with 2D/3D modelling using Revit, AutoCAD.
• Should demonstrate substantial involvement in the delivery of Hydropower project.
• Should be technology focused and understand industry developments.
• Should be able to guide, troubleshoot and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects and drive outcomes
• Should be able to assist in Modelling and Extraction of deliverables
• Good communication skills and leadership skills
• A professional attitude towards work and self-motivated
• Be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skill
