Job summary

Mott MacDonald in India seeks a skilled BIM modeller to develop models and drawings, take-offs and schedules, understand client requirements, ensure QC, and deliver on time. The candidate will standardize workflows and coordinate with BIM coordinators and project managers.

Requirements include ITI in engineering, 5–10 years modelling and detailing, experience in energy/power projects, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and strong communication and leadership to train team members.

Qualifications

• ITI in respective Engineering discipline. Diploma/Degree will be an added advantage.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in modelling and detailing.
• Experience in energy/power projects would be an advantage.
• Experience in other sectors considered if expertise in modelling and detailing RCC and structural steel.
• Proficient in 2D/3D modelling using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Involvement in delivery of Hydropower projects.
• Technology-focused with knowledge of industry developments.
• Able to guide, troubleshoot, and train team members on BIM projects.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing models and drawings, quantities take off/ Schedules
• Understanding client requirements and standards for developing models, details and drawings.

• Standardizing workflows based on the project requirements and managing electronic information
• Coordination with BIM coordinators and Project Managers

Candidate Specification:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of Modelling and detailing.
• Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage
• Experience in other sector can be considered if the candidate has expertise in modelling and detailing of RCC and structural steel structures.
• Should be well conversant with 2D/3D modelling using Revit, AutoCAD.
• Should demonstrate substantial involvement in the delivery of Hydropower project.
• Should be technology focused and understand industry developments.
• Should be able to guide, troubleshoot and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects and drive outcomes
• Should be able to assist in Modelling and Extraction of deliverables
• Good communication skills and leadership skills
• A professional attitude towards work and self-motivated
• Be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skill
