Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a BIM modeller to develop models and drawings across energy projects in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and beyond. You will interpret client requirements, ensure quality, and coordinate with BIM teams to deliver consistent deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have 3–10 years of modelling/detailing experience, hands-on Revit/CADS RC and AutoCAD skills, and strong leadership and communication abilities. This role supports flexible working and career growth within a global firm.

Qualifications

• ITI in respective Engineering discipline.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in modelling and detailing.
• Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage.
• Experience in other sectors if proficient in RCC and structural steel modelling/detailing.
• Proficient with 2D/3D modelling using Revit or CADS RC and hands-on AutoCAD experience.
• Technology focused and aware of industry developments.
• Ability to guide, troubleshoot and train team members in BIM projects.
• Assist in modelling and extraction of deliverables.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Professional attitude and self-motivation.
• Team player with multi-disciplinary coordination.

The selected candidate will be responsible for

• Developing models and drawings, quantities take off/ Schedules
• Understanding client requirements and standards for developing models, details and drawings.
• Ensuring QC process is being followed, delivery to the right quality and timelines
• Standardizing workflows based on the project requirements and managing electronic information
• Coordination with BIM coordinators and Project Managers
• Promotes standardization of components and processes

Candidate Specification

• ITI in respective Engineering discipline. Diploma/Degree will be an added advantage.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in the field of Modelling and detailing.
• Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage
• Experience in other sector can be considered if the candidate has expertise in modelling and detailing of RCC and structural steel structures.
• Should be well conversant with 2D/3D modelling using Revit or CADS RC. Must have handson experience on Autocad.
• Should be technology focused and understand industry developments.
• Should be able to guide, troubleshoot and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects and drive outcomes
• Should be able to assist in Modelling and Extraction of deliverables
• Good communication skills and leadership skills
