Job summary

Escher Labs is seeking a Structural & Architectural BIM Modeller for an on-site role in Mumbai. You will develop and manage detailed BIM models for structural and architectural elements, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accuracy and constructability across the project lifecycle.

You will assist in preparing model-based documentation, exporting views and schedules, and contributing to template improvements while adhering to project standards and quality controls.

Role Description

The Structural & Architectural BIM Modeller will be responsible for developing and managing detailed BIM models for structural and architectural elements using industry-standard tools and workflows. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating design changes, and ensuring that models meet project standards and constructability requirements. The role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and MEP specialists to maintain accurate, clash-free models and support digital delivery across the project lifecycle. The BIM Modeller will also assist in preparing model-based documentation, exporting views and schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement of modelling templates and processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience creating and managing coordinated 3D models.
• Knowledge of Architecture and structural design principles, with the ability to interpret and translate design intent into accurate digital models.
• Hands-on experience as a Modeler for building and infrastructure projects, focusing on structural and architectural components.
• Ability to work with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) models to support multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
• Competence in reading, understanding, and generating Construction Drawings and model-derived documentation.
• Relevant diploma or degree in architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM platforms; familiarity with Scan-to-BIM or digital twins is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to follow established standards, guidelines, and quality control procedures.
