Job summary

Mukesh & Associates, a Salem-based consultancy, is seeking an on-site BIM Modeler to develop and maintain detailed BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. You will coordinate with project teams, interpret design inputs, and ensure models align with project standards.

You will produce 3D models, 2D drawings, schedules, and visualizations while supporting clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination. Strong BIM and design communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and coordinating BIM models for architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site BIM Modeler role based in Salem. The BIM Modeler will develop and maintain detailed Building Information Models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines in coordination with project teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting design inputs and construction drawings, creating accurate 3D models and 2D documentation, and updating models based on design changes and stakeholder feedback. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure models meet project standards, support clash detection, and facilitate coordination across disciplines. The BIM Modeler will also assist in producing schedules, quantity take-offs, and visualizations, while adhering to company and industry quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), with the ability to create, manage, and coordinate digital models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and modeling, including understanding of design intent, spatial planning, and model detailing for building projects.
• Candidates should possess ability to integrate MEP systems effectively within BIM environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in interpreting and producing construction drawings, ensuring accurate translation of design documentation into coordinated models.
• Proficiency in BIM software (such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools).
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and effective communication skills are essential.
• Experience with Indian building codes, standards, and large-scale infrastructure or building projects will be an added advantage.
