Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced aerospace structural analyst to perform stress substantiation for Airbus Helicopters programs. You will run FE analyses, develop high‑quality reports, and collaborate with design, airworthiness, and customer teams to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

The role requires 4–8 years of aero structural analysis experience, hands-on use of Samcef, MSC Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh and HyperView, and a focus on static and fatigue assessments with

Qualifications

  • 4 to 8 years of aerospace structural analysis experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Samcef, MSC Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh and HyperView.
  • Experience in static and fatigue analysis.
  • Certification-oriented structural substantiation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain FE models using HyperMesh and Patran.
  • Perform geometry clean-up and mesh generation.
  • Ensure mesh quality and model compliance with project requirements.

Job description

Airbus Helicopters structural substantiation activities involving

  • finite element modelling, static and fatigue analysis of helicopter structures and mechanical components.
  • The role requires expertise in meshing, FE model preparation, analysis execution, results interpretation, and generation of certification-quality stress reports.
  • The engineer will work closely with design, airworthiness, and customer teams to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and structural integrity requirements.
In this role, you will:
  • Stress Analysis with Airbus Helicopters.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and propose relevant technology solutions.
  • Interact with onshore team understand the project need and delivery timelines [KPI]
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and capability-building initiatives.
Your Profile

4 to 8 years of experience in Aero industry with Airbus stress analysis methodology experience.

  • Execute fatigue assessments and life evaluations.
  • Evaluate margins of safety and structural integrity.
  • Assess stress concentrations and critical locations.
  • Review and interpret analysis results using HyperView.
  • Validate FE models and analysis assumptions.
  • Identify design improvements and optimization opportunities.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare stress substantiation reports.
  • Generate certification and compliance documentation.
  • Support design reviews and technical discussions.
Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams.
  • Interface with Airbus Helicopters engineering teams.
  • Support issue resolution and engineering change requests.
Experience Required
  • 4 to 8 years of aerospace structural analysis experience.
