Job summary

Sahana Information in India is seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing professional to optimize costs and develop forging and casting supplier networks. You will identify suppliers, manage RFQs, and drive APQP/PPAP aligned actions within the automotive sector.

The ideal candidate has mechanical engineering background with 8+ years in sourcing, supplier development, and experience with aluminum commodities and OEM supplier quality. SAP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer with 8+ years in sourcing and cost optimization.
• Experience in supplier development for forging and casting commodities including aluminum.
• Exposure to APQP and PPAP processes and automotive OEM supplier quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers and manage RFQs end-to-end.
• Drive supplier development to meet cost and quality targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in automotive sourcing.
