Job summary

SWADESHI KHADI TRADERS PRIVATE LIMITED in Hathras seeks a Store Manager for a multi-brand clothing showroom to drive sales, manage staff, and ensure clean, well-displayed premises. You report to the Owner and will coordinate with ERP/billing processes and customer communications via WhatsApp.

The role requires 3+ years in retail sales, 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity, and proficiency in ERP/billing software. Fluency in Hindi and working English is essential; graduates preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in apparel or lifestyle.
• At least 1–2 years in a management role leading 5+ staff.
• Comfortable using ERP/billing software and WhatsApp Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead showroom to achieve monthly sales targets; break targets into daily and per-staff goals and track progress.
• Improve conversion rate, average bill value, and cross-selling; plan festive and sale-event pushes.
• Manage display and store hygiene; refresh window displays and maintain grooming and uniforms.
• Hire, train and roster staff; conduct daily morning briefings and stock checks.
• Reconcile cash, card, and UPI; generate closing reports and handle exchanges.

Job description

Hiring: Store Manager – Multi-Brand Clothing Showroom, Hathras

Role

You will lead the showroom with one main goal: grow sales. You will also keep the store clean, well-displayed and running smoothly. You report to the Owner.

Sales (primary focus)

• Break the monthly target into daily and per-staff targets, and track progress every day
• Improve conversion, average bill value and cross-selling
• Plan festive, wedding-season and sale-event pushes
• Build a customer database and follow up on WhatsApp about new arrivals and offers
• Track sales by brand and category in the ERP, and reorder fast-moving items on time

Store Hygiene & Display

• Complete a daily opening checklist: floor, mirrors, trial rooms, washrooms, lighting and AC
• Keep racks folded, sized and colour-arranged, with no garments left lying around
• Refresh the window display every 2 weeks and for each offer
• Maintain staff grooming and uniform standards

Team & Operations

• Hire, train and roster sales staff, and hold a morning briefing each day
• Check incoming stock, run weekly stock counts and control shrinkage
• Reconcile cash, card and UPI daily, and send the closing report
• Handle complaints and exchanges on the spot

Performance Measured On

• Sales vs target and growth over last year
• Conversion rate and average bill value
• Hygiene and display audit score
• Stock accuracy, customer feedback and reporting discipline

Requirements (Mandatory)

• At least 3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in apparel or lifestyle
• At least 1–2 years in a management role (Store, Assistant or Floor Manager) leading 5 or more staff
• A proven record of achieving sales targets
• Comfortable using ERP/billing software and WhatsApp Business
• Fluent in Hindi, with working English
• Graduate preferred
• Knowledge of the Hathras/Aligarh market is a plus

Salary

Salary is negotiable and depends on your experience. There is also a sales incentive and a festive bonus. The job is 6 days a week, with a 3-month notice period.
